In this month’s newsletter, I’ve chosen to cover some intellectually heavy topics. Included this month are three videos that are each at least an hour long. I want you to know that I understand how valuable your time is, and I strongly urge you to watch all three of these over the next 30 days. This type of information can be pivotal to the success of your life.
I’ve talked to you before about the dangers of high-fructose corn syrup and how this food additive can single-handedly ruin your life. The presenter in this video really knows his stuff. This is the most accurate and most complete presentation I’ve seen on this topic. About half of the way through the presentation, he goes into some chemistry on the subject, so this means you’ll probably only watch the first half unless you have studied bio-chemistry. Know that the first half is amazingly valuable in itself. If you have studied bio-chemistry, be prepared to be fascinated by understanding the toxicity of high-fructose corn syrup.
This video caught my attention because of the fantastic amount of research that was put into it. It very simply explains how the financial model that the modern family operates under is nothing more than an equation for failure. Understanding these concepts will make you rethink your entire life plan.
This video is titled “The Most IMPORTANT Video You’ll Ever See,” which may be a bit of an oversell, but I agree that the concepts presented are very important. This is on my “top 20 things you need to understand about the economy” list. It uses some college level mathematical models to explain some shocking truths that most advanced business people don’t even know exist. If you understand math, do yourself a favor and watch this. Note that this video was uploaded to YouTube in eight parts, so be sure you watch all eight videos in the playlist.
James Altucher (Freakonomics) points out how the fundamental ideas that Americans hold dear are ruining the country. He firmly believes that “going to college is the worst sin you can force your kids to commit, that you should never vote again, and that you should never own a home” – and explains why. I completely agree with him.
Isaac Asimov eloquently explains one of the things that “normal people” do to drive people of higher intelligence insane. He also explains how schools push memorization rather than learning, which is interesting considering that they all think they are focused on learning. This is just a great article on the progression of knowledge.
Charles Schwab writes an open letter to our political system explaining what really needs to be done to fix our economy. Chuckey knows what he is talking about!
That’s it for now… Go make it happen!
