Spend Less and Get Laid More

by Drawk Kwast – September 29th, 2010

blingWhat if there was something you could do right now, that took zero effort, didn’t cost anything, and was guaranteed to get you laid more?

FACT #1) We are living in a bad economy where most guys are making less money, but still trying to pay for the same lifestyle they had years ago in the good economy.

FACT #2) This is causing those guys an incredible amount of stress.

FACT #3) Women don’t care about “stuff.” Women care about how they “feel” around you.

Connect the dots here and you discover an amazing thing. Spend less money, learn to live easily within your current financial means, lower your stress level, and you will find women to be much more responsive to your advances. When a guy under stress approaches a woman, she feels that stress and doesn’t want to be around it. When over 95% of the men around her are wound-tight with negative energy, they become even more responsive to the men who are care free.

Let go of your ego. Let go of that stuff you can’t afford anymore. Start paying off your credit cards and building your savings account back up. Lower your stress, breath easy, and sleep better. Then start talking to all the women around you. Be amazed at how much easier it is to get a date when you’re the only guy in the room smiling. Meet her at a Starbucks for some stimulating conversation (and where the total cost of the date will be under $10.00).

Estrogen – The Attack On Manhood

by Drawk Kwast – September 4th, 2010

estrogen moleculePlastic is making androgynous pedophiles of us all. Put down the water bottle and listen up. The research is incredible. Most girls hit puberty now at age nine (you’re pretending not to notice, but I know you’ve noticed). If you take a look around on the Internet, lots of people are talking about why girls are becoming women so young, but the really disturbing news that no one seems to be talking about is how some of the same factors are turning boys into “little girls.”

Let’s start at the beginning, with why girls are hitting puberty so young. There are three major contributors to this. The first is childhood obesity, which America really excels at these days. Fat female children have an increased ability to convert hormones into estrogen. Nature has programmed a preference for a certain amount of body fat before female puberty. This is due to the extra fat needed to survive pregnancy, which also explains evolutionarily why women tend to carry a higher “healthy” body fat percentage than men. Give the female body more fat, at a younger age, and puberty happens sooner.

The second factor is what the US Food and Drug Administration allows to be added to our food. Two of the allowed hormones are progesterone and estradiol (which sounds very close to estrogen for a good reason). Both of these are natural female sex hormones. Pumping female hormones into food equals more female hormones in the bodies of young girls, resulting in puberty faster.

The third reason you’re feeling guilty for lusting after underage girls is plastic. Most plastic bags come with a “danger of suffocation warning” on them somewhere. The warning that needs to be added is the danger of estrogen-mimicking chemicals that easily leach out, and contaminate everything they touch. These chemicals are Bisphenol A (BPA), Phthalates, and Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA). Think about all those food and beverage containers and you understand how everyone is receiving a constant trickle of estrogen-mimicking chemicals. And you thought you were just drinking water.

I hate it when I have to agree with the tree-huggers, who have been claiming for years that we’re poisoning ourselves, but the reality is that we are poisoning ourselves. Young girls are getting an overdose of estrogen, but this is only the beginning of the story. Everyone is concerned about young girls, but no one seems to care that boys are getting that same overdose of estrogen. If too much estrogen is bad in girls, what do you think this is doing to boys?

When I look at the average boy these days, I cannot believe what I see. Most don’t even look like boys anymore. They are being pumped full of estrogen and pulled away from physical activities like sports. Physical Education in our schools is a total joke these days. Physical activity promotes the production of testosterone. Boys need testosterone to become men. A man with high estrogen and low testosterone is not a man. A fat 12-year-old boy with bitch tits is not on the path to healthy manhood.

So what can men like you and me do to prevent this in ourselves? One option is to start grocery shopping like a hippy and use glass containers rather than plastic. Another option is blocking estrogen. Ask the alpha male at your local gym, and you’ll find that he’s on some kind of anti-estrogen product. Estrogen blockers work by binding to the estrogen receptors in the body, preventing estrogen from binding to these sites, literally blocking the estrogen. The newer and more advanced anti-estrogen products are called “aromatase inhibitors” and they work by inhibiting the formation of estrogen in the body.

One final word of advice – stop eating soy! Soy is loaded with estrogen. I realize this ruins the idea of dipping your sushi in soy sauce (unless you happen to be on an anti-estrogen), but there’s a reason why only women and gay men eat tofu.

Stripper Magic

by Drawk Kwast – November 8th, 2009

When I first moved to Las Vegas I made a commitment to myself to avoid strippers which, against my better judgment, I would later change my mind on. What had not occurred to me was that when you live in Las Vegas, every attractive girl you meet is either a “dancer” which is the same thing as stripper, or a stripper, which is the same thing as prostitute. These are girls I would meet at the gym or at the grocery store, get them out on a date, and find out they were a “dancer.” From these experiences, I learned a valuable lesson about women in general. That’s what this story is about.

I met “Kitten” (she actually introduced herself with her real name but I am changing it here to protect the not so innocent) while she was moving into my building. She was tall, slender, raven-haired, and 19 years old. I wanted to drink her bath water from the moment I met her. She was this dangerous combination of too adorable and too street smart. She told me she was a “dancer” and I told her I would figure out later if I cared. A few hours after meeting her, we were out on the Las Vegas Strip drinking Jager bombs.

I paid for the first round of drinks. When it was time to get a second round, I told her it was her turn to buy. She gave me a strange look that was as much seductive as it was confused. I told her I wasn’t a client and I slapped her ass as she went to the bar to buy me a drink. It was on this night that I made the most amazing discovery about women in general. After she bought that round, she tried to get me to buy the next two rounds. She did it with the cutest little, “I know you want to have sex with me look” on her face. I looked at her and told her that her stripper magic wasn’t going to work on me. She didn’t know how to respond to that, other than going to the bar to buy us more drinks. That was the birth of my saying “stripper magic” and the first realization of how much power these words hold.

I have known her for almost a year now. I am proud to say that I have never had sex with a stripper, and she won’t be the first as she turned out to be a bad kisser anyway. She is a friend. I enjoy hanging out with her to hear stories of the wild life she leads and because it’s easy to pickup amazing looking women when you are already with one. Every time we go out and it’s her turn to buy the drinks, I laugh a little inside knowing that she is buying my drink with the money she got from some horny guy the night before. She is one person in my diverse collection of friends who keeps my life beyond interesting. Every time she falls back into default stripper mode, I smile at her and remind her that her stripper magic doesn’t work on me.

The interesting thing is that all women are born with stripper magic. Whether it’s the girl at the bar asking you to buy her a drink or the woman who feels that she deserves half of a guy’s money after leaving him. It’s just that actual strippers use this magic as their primary source of income. Women think that if they put on some mascara and bat their eyelashes, guys will do anything for them, and in most cases they are correct. That’s stripper magic.

As for me, I’m different and I know how to have fun with it. Whenever any cute girl asks me to do something for them, I smile and tell them that their stripper magic isn’t going to work on me. If it’s a girl I am dating, I say no to things on occasion as I remind her that her stripper magic doesn’t work on me. If it’s a girl trying to sell me something, I tell her with a smile that her hooker magic isn’t going to work on me. As long as I say it in a playful way, everyone gets a good laugh. In most cases, it’s funny because I am calling them out on something they know they are doing. In any case, the women are always derailed with a response like that.

One thing to keep in mind when you are using this to tease women is that the truth hurts. For me, the sexiest quality in a woman is that she doesn’t need me. She hangs out with me because she enjoys being with me, never because she needs me to pay her bills. When you jokingly accuse a self sufficient woman of trying to use stripper magic on you, she will laugh. If you try this on a girl that has nothing going for herself but her looks, expect an emotional flair up. Personally, I don’t waste my time on low value people who don’t know how to take a joke.

Just remember that there is a huge difference between telling a girl that she is behaving like a prostitute and saying with a smile on your face that her “stripper magic” isn’t going to work on you.

Success by New Design

by Drawk Kwast – July 6th, 2008

You won’t win today’s wars with yesterday’s weapons.  The winners are always the innovators.  Show me the man who has improved the most on yesterday’s technology and I will show you tomorrow’s winner.

In evolutionary terms, it’s called the Red Queen’s hypothesis.  It states that there exists a constant arms race in every area of your life.  Simply put, we live in a competitive world and if we do not evolve and improve faster than our competition, we will lose.  The misconception that most people share is that if they simply “get better” at something, they are on the right path to success.  This is not true.  It is possible to get better at a game and still lose that game.  In fact, the tendency is that every participant in any given game gets better, yet still there is only one winner.  The reason for this is that everyone playing will get better simply by playing.  This process is built into each and every human being.  The longer anyone does anything, the better they will get at it.  This is the very thing that creates the Red Queen effect.  You need to realize that everyone in the game is getting better at it as they play.  You must put energy into your improvement just to keep up with everyone else.  To win, you not only need to improve, you must do it faster than everyone else in the game you are competing against.

Let’s look at this from the perspective of two men who decide to have a running race.  Jim and Karl are both 35 years old.  One night while remembering their glory years in high school, they make a competitive bet.  They agree to race each other in a one mile running race.  The race is set three months from the time of the bet.  Jim gets a personal trainer, and hires a nutritionist that came highly recommended by an ex-hockey player who lives next door to him.  Within 10 weeks, Jim is running the mile faster than he was in high school.  On the 12th week, he loses the race against Karl.  How?  Not because he didn’t improve, but because he didn’t improve more than Karl had.  So how did Karl train?  That’s the million dollar question.  If Jim would have had those answers while he was training and could have improved on that technology, he would have won the race.

I see this in the business world time and time again and it seems that no one can figure out what is happening.  The President of Acme Widget Company will sit down with his VPs completely confused at how month after month his sales people get more training, his costs of doing business get lower, and his product defect rate lessens, yet they lose market share every month.  The answer is that they are sinking simply because all of their competition is swimming faster than they are.

When you understand how the Red Queen works, you come to understand the hidden economic factors of the Nth Step.  You are about to understand the one thing that most of your competition will never discover on their own.  In most cases, putting 90% of your energy into a project is wasting 90% of your energy.  I know of no better way to waste resources than to put 90% into something.  Never will you rob yourself of more than if you give it 90%.  Sadly, this is how most of the world operates.

Sam owns a software design company.  Sam is looking for new contracts and finds a request for proposal posted on the internet.  Sam has no idea who his competition will be, how many other proposals the client will receive, or what the contents of the other proposals will be.  The only thing Sam knows for sure is that there will be one proposal that will win the contract, and every other proposal will fail.  This is a classic example of second place being nothing more than the first loser.  Only by winning will Sam be able to recoup the costs of writing the proposal.

Sam pulls out his calculator and figures out how much this proposal is going to cost him to generate.  His team will spend approximately 90 man hours to complete the proposal.  He bases this off of his experience generating proposals similar to it.  Sam pays his staff of all sub-contractors $150.00 per hour.  Sam will spend about $13,500.00 to generate this proposal.  Sam calculates the estimated profit, if he gets the deal, to be between $325,000.00 and $340,000.00.  In the past, Sam has closed the deal 1 in 5 times in similar situations.  This is because he is in a specific niche market and his team is well known in that market.  Sam then calculates the estimated profit (at the low end) of $325,000.00 against the theoretical cost of needing to write 4 more proposals like this ($54,000.00) before he will land a contract.  The numbers tell him that if he plays and stays in this game, he will make about $271,000.00 – This is where most business people stop and put the calculator away.

Sam isn’t done with his calculator yet.  Sam understands the economics of the Nth step and wants to figure out what it would cost him to do something that he is sure his competitors will not have the resources to do.  Sam has already figured out that a proposal will cost him $13,500 to generate.  Sam has also just figured out that it would only cost him 10% more to deliver a software demo CD-ROM with his proposal that would serve as a proof-of-concept.  Because Sam has written software like what’s requested in this proposal before, he has already written 70% of the code needed for this project.  For an additional $1,500.00 he can pay his staff to organize the already written code into a demo CD-ROM that will literally “show” his client what they can expect.  The $1,500.00 represents the cost of the Nth step and he would be a fool to not invest it.  Sam adds in the additional 10% to his proposal costs that his competitor’s proposals will not include.

Sam won the contract.  Sam played smart and played to win.

In the example above, the losers would have been better off to have only invested 15% into their proposal as they would have still lost, but they would have only lost 15% rather than the 90% they did lose.  Realize however that even at a 15% loss, after 7 proposals, they will burn through 105% of their budget and they would do this for nothing as they are guaranteed to lose all seven proposals with an investment of only 15%.

The moral of the story isn’t in holding resources back.  The moral of the story is to find a game you can compete in and give it 100%.  Ask yourself if you are prepared to lose $90,000.00 because you wouldn’t put in another $10,000.00?  Are you prepared to work 9 hours for zero results because you wouldn’t put in that extra hour it would have taken to assure winning?  Are you willing to risk your bet because you didn’t do everything you could to assure you would win?  How often have you set yourself up at the 90% mark and suffered the consequences?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t stop there.  Not only do you need to constantly be putting more energy into advancement than your competition simply to survive but you need to acknowledge that the rules of the game are continuously changing as you play.  This is the other reason why the winners are always the innovators.  They are the only ones that can keep up with the changes in the terrain as they run the race.

At one point in the history of auto racing, all of the tires were the same.  One day, someone got the bright idea that if it rained, they should put tires on the car specifically designed for maximum performance in rain.  One day it rained, one race car had rain tires, and it won the race.  You can imagine that it wasn’t too long after that day that every racing team had a set of special rain tires ready to go for the next time the course got wet.  And so the cycle continued as racing teams looked for other ways to temporarily get a leg up on the competition.  This is the evolution of the race car.

Make no mistake, history repeats itself.  The inner workings of the human brain have not changed in over 40,000 years.  This is why history repeats.  It makes me laugh when world tragedy hits and everyone cries about how they wish they could have seen it coming.  If you want to make better predictions than a psychic on how the United States of America will either evolve or fall apart, start reading about the fall of the other great nations in history.  The parallels are so close that it’s comical in a tragic way.  People evolve slowly but technology evolves faster and faster by the day.  People today behave the same way towards each other as they did 40,000 years ago.  They just use different tools and technology to do the same things to each other today.  The basic rule is that human nature repeats over and over again as technology evolves faster and faster to better carry out that human nature.

This is a very important concept to keep in mind when you are getting advice from people “who have been there before you.”  When it comes to them telling you about human nature, pay close attention.  When they start talking about how you should go about doing things, question everything they say.  They ran the race years ago and the rules have changed because the technology has changed.  The person who sits in the corner office got there 15 years ago.  The rules for getting there today are totally different and in most cases, they have no idea what those rules are.

So where does that leave you?  Feeling a little uneasy because you don’t have the roadmap to success that you thought you had?  You were simply going to follow what everyone else did to succeed?  It should actually make you feel better.  Why?  Because like no time ever before in history, the playing field is level.  With the help of the internet, we have seen large corporations destroyed by groups of people at home, with a computer, while in their underwear.

Welcome to the 21st century!  You want to win?  The winners are the ones who are constantly improving and they are doing it while the competition sleeps.  The winners are testing everything, finding new ways to win tomorrow’s game, and they rewrite the rules as they do it.  You must learn how to learn and invest enough to win or you will not survive.

Focus Becomes Reality

by Drawk Kwast – June 30th, 2008

Focus Becomes RealityYour focus becomes your reality. That’s right, whatever you focus on will become your reality. All that has ever been achieved, all that has ever been created, was brought into reality through action due to focus on an idea. For this reason, success requires a tool to bring focus and cause action. I call this tool a LIFEmap.

A LIFEmap serves two purposes. The first is to bring order and structure to ideas and desires. This is known as definition. The second is to keep us on target. This is known as direction.

Definition – This is the process of taking your ideas and creating a physical representation of your thoughts in reality.

Direction – This is the process of creating a physical reminder that serves as a mental compass so that no matter what happens, you keep on working toward the goal.

When you create a shopping list, this is Definition. As you think of all of the different things you want to buy, you create a physical list on paper to later reference so you can be sure you buy everything. If you have 10 things you need to purchase, but don’t write them down, you may have trouble remembering them all when you get to the store.

When Albert Einstein used chalkboards to develop equations, this was Definition. His thoughts were first brought into reality on the chalkboard where he could put order to them and work with them.

When a songwriter hums a few new notes, this is Definition. They have taken a thought and reflected that thought in physical creation.

Definition is not about a perfect finished product. It actually exists at the other end of the creative process. It is the all important first step where an idea starts to manifest in physical reality. What is done is not as important as the fact that it has been done. It is a matter of getting things moving. The rest of the process is a matter of Direction.

Direction is about being consistent. It’s a compass that keeps you pointed toward your goal. It’s a marker to remind you, to keep you from getting lost, and most importantly to keep you moving forward at all times.

When a man looks at the wedding ring on his hand, that gives him Direction.

When a man in the military looks at the American flag, that gives him Direction.

When a professional athlete sees the finish line, that gives him Direction.

A LIFEmap can take many forms but all of them serve by organizing ideas into a physical reality (Definition) and then using a physical marker to keep you on your path (Direction). It’s this physical reminder that serves to continuously ask you Five Key Questions:

1. What is my plan for action that I will take to move me toward achieving my goals?

2. Am I doing anything counter-productive to achieving my goals that I must stop now?

3. What resources or skills am I lacking and how do I get them?

4. Who can I talk to who has achieved a similar goal? Can I find an expert who can guide me (maybe they wrote a book, have a blog, or can be hired as a consultant)?

5. What is something that I can do right now to move me closer to my goal? How can I take action now?

…and remember, the point is to find solutions in your answers, not excuses!

The point of Direction is that you are continuously moving toward your goal. And remember, there is only success and learning experiences. There is no failure, only information gained from experience. It’s normal to adjust your plan as you go along in order to overcome unpredicted challenges. Always keep moving forward!

Those are the basic concepts, now I’m going to give you some practical, and easy to use examples. It’s time for you to build your LIFEmap.

“The Collage” – Get a poster board from an art supply shop. Get a stack of your favorite magazines and start cutting out pictures of things you want in your life. Paste all of the pictures onto the poster board. Take the finished product (it’s finished when it’s completely covered – no white space) to a place that does professional picture framing. Spend a little money to have a nice frame put on it (you will see why in just a bit). When you are there, explain to the person who helps you that it’s a LIFEmap and you are putting it up in your house to remind you what your goals are. Each of these steps is very important because each step takes what is in your head and brings it further into physical reality. Each step, even explaining what you are doing to the person at the framing shop, is a physical thing that will start a domino effect in the physical world to bring you closer to achieving your desires. When you get it home, hang it in the most noticeable, high traffic area of your home. Every time someone comes over that hasn’t seen it, spend two minutes telling them what it is and why you chose the different pictures. The most important part is that you look at it no less that two times every day and ask yourself the Five Key Questions as mentioned above. Anytime you have a free moment, look at it and take action.

“The Model” – Do you want a new car, boat, or even a plane? Go buy a scale model, even better if you have to put it together. Put it someplace that you see it numerous times a day and memorize the Five Key Questions. Every day you will look at it, ask yourself the Five Key Questions, and take action.

“The Announcement” – Ideas are great, commitment to action is better. Let’s say that you want to start your own business. You have written a very detailed business plan and you will be ready to quit your job in 6 months. This one is simple. Tell your boss that you will be quitting in 6 months. You will be amazed at how handing in your resignation will keep you in a state of action toward your goal. Or as a different example, let’s say that you like to work out but have trouble lasting a full hour at the gym. Go to a shop that prints custom t-shirts and have a few new workout shirts made that say, “I can last one hour.” …and yes, the sexual innuendo was intended. It will give you something to talk about at the gym. The point is that when you tell others what your goals are, you feel dumb when they don’t see you being congruent in your actions. This tends to force you into action.

“The Picture” – What if you work a stressful job because of the pay? The answer is simple, every time you start to feel stress, remind yourself why you are there by looking at a picture. Maybe it’s a picture of a child that you are putting money into a college fund for. Maybe it’s a picture of a new home that you are saving up for. Maybe a new car. When the boss asks you if you can work overtime, just look at the postcard from Hawaii and think about how you will be just a little closer to that vacation. Just look at the picture, ask yourself the Five Key Questions, and get moving.

“The List Diary” – One of my favorites. Go buy a diary. An actual physical book (you cannot use a computer for this exercise). Start off by writing the Five Key Questions on the first page for easy reference. Then write a list of the three most important goals you have for your life. Each morning, the first thing you do once you are awake (VERY IMPORTANT: The very first thing you do) is to read your list of three goals and then write answers to each of the Five Key Questions. You do this EVERY morning! You then use this same book to take notes during the day as you work toward the goals. Leave this book out on your desk or on top of the TV so every time you see it you are reminded that you need to take action. When you get one of the three goals completed, add another goal. The point is that you always have three (never more) goals that you are working toward in your life. I cannot make a big enough point as to how powerful this system is. Everyone I know who has implemented this system either stops writing in the book, or achieves their goals. All you have to do is keep true to the system, and keep writing in the book. You will be amazed at the results.

These are just some examples. You can pick one or any combination of them based on your personality and specific goals. Now that you understand the tool, you can even create your own. Remember, the more you physically do, the better it will work. Define your goals in physical space, keep focused on them, and watch as you bring them into your reality.
